Software Installation and Setup
Before the user can operate the Impetus SDSS Framework, it must be installed on the computer (Setup). Once the computer’s operating system has confirmed that it will support the new applications, the two file buttons below appear:
The IMPETUSClient_windows_1_0 (Impetus Client for the operating system Windows, Version 1.0) is activated by a double click. The Installation starts. A dialogue window opens where the installation progress can be seen on the bar. This process can take several minutes.
Once this step is finished, the system is successfully installed on the computer. Now the user can select their personal settings; they can, for example, choose the main folder and the folder for the components as demonstrated in the screenshots below.
The installation starts now. As before the user can monitor the progress on the bar in the dialogue window. This step may also take several minutes.
