Calculate with fuzzy information
Fuzzy functions can operate with fuzzy logic values. For example, the logic value can assume the value of 0.5 and this enables the fuzzy information (such as "a bit", "quite/rather" or "strong") to be interpreted in a mathematical way (see also fuzziness). Programs supporting fuzzy logic are, therefore, closer to human thinking than other traditional programs.
