ReadMeFirst

The Workflow section in the ReadmeFirst file has following subsections

Data preparation: short overview how input data was prepared from raw data, how parameters were obtained etc.

Preprocessing of data (extended simulations only): which steps a user has to perform in order to get the preprocessed SIMPLACE input data

Running simulation: how to start a simulation. If additional scripts/software are used, a detailed instruction should be provided (could be a reference to another document)

Postprocessing of data (extended simulation only): which steps a user has to perform to get the outputs from the original SIMPLACE outputs

Data Analysis and Visualisation: short overview, how data was further analyzed and visualized.

NB: In order to keep the ReadmeFirst file lucid, explanations that consist of more than one page should be put in extra files and referenced in the subsections.
