Class PlantSystemConductance
- All Implemented Interfaces:
net.simplace.sim.util.FWSimFieldContainer
This SimComponet calculates the root system hydraulic conductance (Krs) and plant hydraulic conductance (Kplant) of a certain crop plant based on total root length per unit of soil area. The Kplant is used in the Couvreur RWU model and the coupled root-shoot model (see HillFlow1DLintulCCDiurnalPsiLeaf). In addition to Kplant, the Couvreur model also requires the compensatory hydraulic conductance (Kcomp) to estimate the compensatory root water uptake. The detailed calculation of root system hydraulic conductance and plant hydraulic conductance could be found in Chapter 3 of the LintulCC and Extensions documentation (pdf).
